Saint Thomas Health Eliminates 38 Billing Jobs

Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health cut 38 billing and revenue cycle jobs this week, according to The Tennessean.

The hospital system is restructuring its center billing office, according to the release. Saint Thomas cut 150 jobs across all support services last summer. The health system is investing in an accountable care organization, though executives say there is no connection between the layoffs and the ACO.
