Officials at NurseWise say that upon completion of a four-week pilot program, a contract was signed with Telemedicine Natural Language Processing of Coded Chief Complaints from Health Navigator.
Health Navigator, a health information company, offers organizations the ability to transform patient’s presenting problems into coded chief complaints, which are linked to both ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes.
NurseWise is a division of Milwaukee-based Centene Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, which provides programs and services to government sponsored healthcare programs, which a primary focus on the under-insured and uninsured.
NurseWise’s call centers are located in Tempe, Ariz.; Clayton, Mo.; and Tyler, Texas.
