Jack Voight, MD, 81, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud. Dr. Voight was a member of an organization that moved patients between various clinics for repeated unnecessary tests, the attorney’s office said.
Dr. Voight and the other physicians involved paid the patients with prescription narcotics. A third party medical billing service submitted the false claims, and several guilty pleas have already been entered for the billing services.
