Kaiser invests in Health Catalyst: 4 things to know

Kaiser Permanente Ventures and CHV Capital invested $8 million in Health Catalyst, according to Internet Health Management.

Here are four things to know:

1. Health Catalyst develops healthcare data warehousing and population health management products.

2. Health Catalyst is focused on developing products that leverage digital patient data to positively impact care.

3. Minneapolis-based Allina Health, Crown Point-based Indiana University Health, Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System, Robbinsdale, Minn.-based North Memorial Health Care, Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services, California-based Stanford Hospital and Clinics and Houston-based Texas Children’s Hospital have all purchased Health Catalyst products.

4. More than 70 million patients in more than 200 hospitals and 3,000 clinics benefit from Health Catalyst technology.
