Here are five things to know:
1. The event took place at the Cone Park Library in Gainesville, Fla.
2. The state of Florida sponsors EFOR, an agency for epilepsy programs. EFOF officials are trained and licensed to help people go through the healthcare application process.
3. Residents could sign up for a time to get help with their application or use available computers on-site at the event.
4. Nearly 450,000 Floridians signed up for health insurance for the health insurance marketplace open enrollment period through the end of November.
5. Epilepsy Foundation of Florida and the Gainesville Links will host another event Dec. 12 at the computer lab in the Santa Fe College Center for Innovation and Economic Development.
