2. He presently serves as an emergency room physician and director of CMS’ Physicians Regulatory Issues Team.
3. CMS appointed Dr. Rogers as ombudsman during a national call for healthcare providers with the news that its ICD-10 Coordination Center will open at the end of September in Baltimore.
4. Dr. Rogers has been with the CMS since 2003 and his new duties will be an extension of his current job, where he guides providers through Medicare and Medicaid regulatory efforts.
