Here are four points about the companies.

1. ICDLogic devised a product, called Cypher, which instructs physicians on how to enhance their clinical documentation skills so they can receive full reimbursements for the services they render.

2. The tool automatically produces the most specific ICD-10 and ICD-9 codes based on a physician’s diagnostic thought process.

3. Additionally, Cypher provides reminders to document relevant underlying causes, additional factors, complications and comorbidities that signal a patient’s severity of condition.

4. MindLeaf Technologies, based in Bedford, Mass., helps provider organizations decrease risk and increase productivity through its medical compliance and support services.
