The curriculum is based on approved Professional Medical Coding and Billing IDC-9/10 course and aims to help medical transcriptionists easily and quickly adjust to a career in medical coding.
“With medical coder shortages as high as 50 percent expected by the end of the year, there has been an increased movement among medical transcriptionists to transition to medical coding.
