California workers’ compensation medical billing regulations approved

The Office of Administrative Law has approved the Workers’ Compensation Information System medical billing reporting regulations for California’s Division of Workers’ Compensation, according to a WorkersCompensation.com report.

The updated regulations are designed to allow the Workers’ Compensation Information System the ability to collect more robust and useful data, according to the report. The new regulations went into effect April 6.
