Another SGR patch likely before a final fix

There has been significant effort put forth for repealing the sustainable growth rate formula, but it appears another patch is likely to be put in place before a final solution is found, according to a MEDPAGE TODAY report.

Representative Tom Price, MD (R-Ga.), chair of the House’s Budget Committee, predicted a four to six month patch would be established in March, followed by a full-scale repeal, according to the report. Rep. Price offered this insight at the American Medical Association national conference.
