AMA Will Not Move to Stop CMS Release of Physician Payment Data

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced it plans release its payment data for 880,000 physicians. Despite an opposing stance, the American Medical Association has said it will not try to block the release of the data, according to a dallasnews report.

The AMA does not plan any legal action, but this does not rule out legal action by other organizations, according to the report.
