70%+ of physicians prefer FFS: 3 survey findings

Physicians still prefer to operate in a fee-for-service payment system, according to a US Front Line of Healthcare Survey.

Here are three survey findings:

1. Seventy percent-plus of physicians said they would prefer a FFS model.

2. Many respondents had issues with value-based payment models’ complexity and quality of care.

3. Most physicians (60 percent) worry it will be harder to offer high quality care in two years due to high administrative burden, complex regulations as well as EHR frustrations.
