The survey included a random sample of about 800 adults from 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
Here are five observations:
1. Of those surveyed, 56 percent reported satisfaction with the total cost paid for their healthcare.
2. Those consumers covered by Medicare or Medicaid were most satisfied with their costs, when compared to the uninsured and privately insured.
3. Those with private coverage have experienced increased dissatisfaction, rising from 40 percent in 2013 to 49 percent in 2016.
4. Of consumers with full employer coverage, 27 percent noted dissatisfaction.
5. Of adults with private health insurance, one-third noted their premiums increased in the previous year.
