3 Things to Expect From ICD-10 Testing in 2014

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have ICD-10 testing with Medicare Administrative Contractors scheduled for March 3 to 7, 2014, according to a Government HealthIT report.

Here are three things to expect:

•    MACs will hose registration sites or provide an email address for trading partners to provide registration information. The site or email address information will be made public at least four weeks prior to the start of the testing week.
•    EDI help desk support will be available during testing week from at least 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. local contractor time.
•    Providers and suppliers participating in testing week will receive electronic confirmation that submitted test claims were accepted or denied.
