2. The attorney generals are requesting their suit be amended to include at least a dozen new companies.
3. The 12 possible new defendants are: Actavis Holdco; Actavis Pharma; Ascend Laboratories; Apotex Corp.; Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories; Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Glenmark Pharmaceuticals; Lannett Company; Par Pharmaceutical Companies; Sandoz; Sun Pharmaceuticals and Zydus Pharmaceuticals.
4. CNBC reports the companies colluded to raise prices.
5. The states are seeking injunctive relief, civil penalties and disgorgement of profits.
6. Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen is leading the state coalition.
