10 states with the highest healthcare marketplace enrollment

Here are 10 states where the most people enrolled in health insurance plans on the marketplace from 2014 to 2018, according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Kaiser gathered data from CMS and HHS as well as state marketplace websites and ACAsignups.net to report the total number of enrollees.

1. California: 1.5 million
2. Florida: 1.7 million
3. Texas: 1.1 million
4. North Carolina: 519,803
5. Georgia: 480,912
6. Virginia: 400,015
7. Pennsylvania: 398,081
8. Illinois: 334,979
9. Michigan: 293,940
10. New Jersey: 274,782

*Enrollment numbers for California are preliminary numbers.
