Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgical Center gets accreditation

Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgical Center earned accreditation at the end of 2014, according to an AAAHC newsletter.

The surgery center, which was opened in September 2014, earned Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accreditation. The center is a partnership among 14 spine and orthopedic surgeons as Merritt Healthcare. The center was relocated to Danbury, Conn., after it was purchased in 2013.
