The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care conducted the survey for the Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Gainesville. Here are five key notes on the center:

1. The surgery center was originally built in 2000 and expanded in 2009. The center is now 16,500 square feet.

2. There are five operating rooms and 15 recovery bays in the surgery center.

3. Physicians from The Orthopaedic Institute own the center, along with AmSurg.

4. Specialties at the practice include general orthopedics, sports medicine, knee surgery, shoulder surgery, spine surgery and joint replacement.

5. The center also includes occupational medicine and primary care orthopedics.
