MI’s Metro Health Hospital Receives Stroke Certification From HFAP

Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich., has announced it has received primary stroke certification from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program, according to a hospital news release.

Metro Health earned the HFAP certification after the accreditor conducted a review of the hospital’s stroke program.

The HFAP stroke certification program has its standards based on evidence from the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Heart/Stroke Association, according to the release.
