Licensed Practical Nurse Charged With Administering Medication Without an Order

A licensed practical nurse from Washington has been accused of administering medication without an order, according to a Washington Department of Health release.

According to the release, the Nursing Commission charged licensed practical nurse Amos P. Brinkley, III, with unprofessional conduct in July. He allegedly administered insulin to a patient without an order and without consulting other members of the patient’s medical team.
