Joint Commission Reaccredits Newton Medical Center Laboratory

The Joint Commission has reaccredited the laboratory at Newton Medical Center in Covington, Ga., according to CovNews report.

The laboratory is responsible for all inpatient and outpatient blood testing services, pathology, microbiology and histology. The laboratory also includes a blood bank.

Newton Medical Center is a 97-bed hospital.
