URAC Launches Clinical Integration, Accountable Care Accreditation Programs

URAC, an independent national accreditation organization, has announced the launch of its Clinical Integration and Accountable Care accreditation programs.

The programs are designed to assist organizations in shifting to clinically integrated networks and providing population-based health through accountable care organizations.

The Clinical Integration Accreditation program focuses on developing clinical integration, evidence-based guidelines and best practices. The Accountable Care Accreditation program focuses on total population health and the improvement of healthcare outcomes through the coordination of population groups.

The programs’ accreditation standards align with Federal Trade Commission antitrust regulations. A variety of healthcare providers can earn accreditation through these programs.
