The presentation focuses on infection prevention standards and how to use The Joint Commission’s tracer process to track dirty equipment.

Lisa Waldowski originally delivered the presentation at the 2015 Annual Ambulatory Conference and next year will deliver the “Cleaning, High-level Disinfection and Sterilization for Ambulatory Care Organizations” webinar. The 2016 webinar will focus on breaches in high-level disinfection and sterilization processes. Ms. Waldowski will give recommendations to reduce infection risk associated with medical equipment, devices and supplies.

The Joint Commission also made the High Level Disinfection and Sterilization BoosterPak available for practices to follow regulatory standards for HLD and sterilization.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 18–20 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
