Joint Commission, American Society for Health Engineering partner to reduce non-compliance

The Joint Commission partnered with the American Society for Health Engineering to reduce non-compliance with the top eight Environmental Care/Life Safety standards.

The Joint Condition identified several standards that are frequently cited during survey activity and partnered with ASHE to provide information on reducing non-compliance. Content is currently available in the Physical Environment Portal about:

1. Utility Systems – Facilities
2. Utility Systems – Leadership

The organizations will continue to update the portal with information to improve compliance.
