ASCA builds quality and safety resource

The Ambulatory Surgery Center Association has created a website resource page on quality, safety and accreditation concerns.

The page is new as of Sept. 5, and it covers federal and state requirements for Medicare participation in comparison to HOPD standards. The page also provides a brief history of quality measurement in ASCs as it concerns the ASC Quality Collaboration and CMS’ national quality reporting program.
