AAAHC surveyor to know: Sandy Berreth

Sandy Berreth, RN, is an administrator at Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Sansum Clinic Foothills Surgical Center and an Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care surveyor.

Ms. Berreth has been a surveyor since May 2009.

She has served as the ASC’s administrator since November 2016. Before accepting the new position, she was an administrator at Northwoods Surgery Center in Woodruff, Wis., and Pine Ridge Surgery Center in Wausau, Wis.

Ms. Berreth earned a degree in nursing from Fountain Hills, Pa.-based St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She then attended Bismark, N.D.-based University of Mary for a bachelor’s and then a master’s degree in business administration.

She is a board member for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
