AAAHC renews Gastroenterology East’s accreditation: 3 key notes

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care reaccredited Greenville, N.C.-based Gastroenterology East P.A. & Endoscopy Center, Reflector.com reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The center received a three year re-accreditation.

2. Jack Cole, MD, founded the center in 2007. It provides care to residents of Pitt County and 37 other North Carolina counties.

3. The center performs colonoscopies and endoscopies with the assistance of nurse anesthetists.
