PanCare Health is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002. Here are four things to know about the accreditation:

1. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care conducted a survey of seven medical clinics as well as two dental clinics and outpatient facilities.

2. The accreditation came under the AAAHC Medical Home accreditation and shows PanCare Health complies with the nationally-recognized standard of care.

3. The survey included a self-assessment and onsite survey that was consultative and educational, presenting best practices for the organization.

4. PanCare Health accepts private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and dental plans. Patients without insurance are charged on a sliding scale.
