The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care granted Mid-South Endoscopy Center accreditation. Here are five things to know about the center:

1. There are four physicians associated with the center.

2. Procedures at the center include colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and upper endoscopy.

3. The endoscopy center is associated with AmSurg.

4. Amit Choksi, MD, is a physician at the center and holds the chief of medicine position at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tenn.
