AAAASF’s Dr. Foad Nahai receives career achievement award — 5 things to know

American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities board president earned the career achievement award from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Foad Nahai, MD, received the award at the ASAPS Meeting in Montreal last month. Here are five things to know about Dr. Nahai:

1. He is a professor of surgery at Emory University in Atlanta.

2. His expertise includes the face, neck and eyelid surgery, and he has made significant advancements in the art and science of facial rejuvenation.

3. Throughout his career, Dr. Nahai has authored 10 books and published more than 200 scientific articles on plastic surgery, and demonstrated his technique all over the world.

4. In 2008 to 2010, Dr. Nahai was the president of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and formerly was the director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a former ASAPS president.

5. Currently, Dr. Nahai is the editor-in-chief of Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
