AAAASF accredits 34 new facilities: 3 things to know

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities accredited 34 new facilities in December 2015.

Here are three things to know:

1. 2015 was AAAASF’s 35th anniversary year.

2. AAAASF requires 100 percent compliance with all accreditation standards and does not offer partial accreditation.

3. There were a number of surgery centers amongst the 34 facilities, including Southern California Surgery Center in Huntington Park, Calif., Roswell Eye Surgery Center in Marietta, Ga., and Princeton (N.J.) Surgiplex.
