6 AMSURG Centers Earn CMS Surveys With No Deficiencies

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid have recently surveyed six AMSURG affiliated surgery centers and found no deficiencies.

The surveys and centers include:

•    A life safety survey of Maryland Endoscopy Center in Townson
•    A pharmacy inspection of Mid Florida Surgery Center, with surgery center locations in Mount Dora and Summerfield
•    A CMS/State survey of Michiana Endoscopy Center in South Bend, Ind.
•    A pharmacy inspection of Waco (Texas) Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center
•    A pharmacy inspection of Eye Surgery and Laser Center of Sebring in Winter Haven, Fla.
•    A state risk management survey of Surgery Center of South Central Kansas in Hutchinson
