Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists members host 3rd annual Doctor Day: 3 points

Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists members were among the physicians participating in Wisconsin’s third annual Doctor Day at the Capitol legislative advocacy conference on Feb. 10, according to an American Society of Anesthesiologists report.

Here are three points:

1. The WSA members collaborated with 20 other specialty medical societies and the Wisconsin Medical Society to host the conference.

2. The conference aims to strengthen the political efforts of individual specialty societies.

3. During the event, WSA President Josh Sebranek, MD, also shared ASA’s efforts to fight for patient safety by maintaining physician-led care within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
