St. Barnabas Hospital joins a growing number of providers seeking solutions from anesthesia management companies for the most efficient, cost-effective healthcare that promotes optimal outcomes, according to a Somnia Anesthesia news release.
“They want to know how they can improve revenue and reduce expenses, while providing the best quality of care,” said Marc Koch, MD, MBA, president and CEO of Somnia, in the news release. “One way to do that is by taking a critical look at anesthesia services. It may be one of the most important areas to consider when trying to reduce subsidy and improve financial performance because the anesthesia department is closely aligned with the facility’s largest revenue generator — the OR.”
