Rivanna Medical starts manufacturing its Accuro device: 3 things to know

Rivanna Medical has begun manufacturing its FDA-cleared Accuro device.

Here three things to know:

1. The handheld and untethered device is designed to guide spinal anesthesia with automated 3D navigation technology as well as ultrasound imaging of abdominal, musculoskeletal, cardiac and peripheral vascular anatomies.

2. Rivanna Medical is a privately held medical technology company that is commercializing Accuro, its initial product.

3. The product will be launched at the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ annual meeting in San Diego, Oct. 24 to Oct. 28.
