NAPA Earns Top Ranking in HCAPHS Results for Pain Care in New Jersey

Melville, N.Y.-based North American Partners in Anesthesia recently achieved top placement in the hospital-level HCAHPS’ — the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems — pain management category for New Jersey.

The 2014 first quarter HCAPHS results translated into NAPA earning a ranking in the 99th percentile of the state and in the 90th percentile nationally.

NAPA offers chronic and acute pain services at Monmouth (N.J.) Medical Center’s anesthesia department. It also provides pain management services at Monmouth Pain Care.

HCAHPS includes standardized, publicly reported information regarding patients’ perspectives on hospital care.
