Missouri State University Board Approves Doctor of Nursing Anesthesia Practice Degree

Springfield-based Missouri State University’s Board of Governors has approved the creation of a Doctor of Nursing Anesthesia Practice degree, according to a KSMU report.

MSU has offered a master’s degree in nurse anesthesia since 1996.  If approved the state’s Coordinating Board for Higher Education, the new doctorate program will replace the current master’s program.

The program would begin in fall 2014, according to the report.
