The study authors sought to evaluate the reliability and accuracy of cardiac output measurement using PhysioFlow in pediatric patients with and without cardiac disease that were undergoing anesthesia for MRIs.
Research concluded that modifications of the algorithm and further testing are required before the PhysioFlow device can be recommended for routine clinical use in pediatric patients.
