Equity Firm, Industry Experts Team Up to Form US Anesthesia Partners

Private equity healthcare firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe is joining with two industry experts to form U.S. Anesthesia Partners, a single-specialty physician services organization focused on anesthesia and perioperative care, according to Herald Online.

Kristen Bratber will serve as USAP’s chief executive officer and John Rizzo as president and chief development officer.

USAP will be headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and will partner with leading anesthesiology groups who seek partners with capital resources to invest in their practice. The new company’s business model also includes investing in IT systems that will drive efficiencies in provider workflow and management.
