Emory University Hospital Announces New Anesthesia Screen System

Emory University Hospital in Atlanta announced a new device created by Jerry Lewis, facilities director at the Hospital, called The Beast anesthesia screen system, according to a MedGadget report.

The “ether screen” that anesthesiologists sit behind during surgery is often not stable, but the new screen system helps attach the screen so it moves along with the bed, provides support for equipment and allows for access to the patient, according to the report.
