Dr. McCallum R. Hoyt Appointed President of Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology

McCallum R. Hoyt, MD, an anesthesiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, was appointed president of the Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology. She will serve a one-year term from 2012 to 2013.

Dr. Hoyt presently serves as director of gynecologic and ambulatory anesthesia at BWH and as an attending physician in the division of obstetric anesthesia. She completed a fellowship in obstetric anesthesiology at the University Hospital of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University and served as director for obstetric anesthesia there until 2002.
