Dr. Armen Chalian Volunteers Anesthesia Services on Medical Mission Trip to Armenia

Armen Chalian, MD, an anesthesiologist at Allied Anesthesia in Santa Ana, Calif., recently traveled to Armenia as part of a medical mission trip, where he volunteered to provide anesthesia services for pediatric reconstructive surgeries.

Dr. Chalian was part of a 17-member team of physicians and nurses that went to Armenia as part of a medical mission sponsored by Plastics Foundation of Orange County (Calif.). The team screened more than 120 children and performed nearly 50 surgeries.
