The partnership has resulted in the establishment of a comprehensive pain management program at DCMH, led by Uplekh Purewal, MD, a Relievus physician. Dr. Purewal completed his anesthesiology residency at Tufts University in Boston, and fellowships in interventional pain management and cardiothoracic anesthesiology at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
The program will offer treatments for common pain conditions including back and neck injury caused by arthritis, according to the report.
