CRH Medical Corp. acquires majority stake in Georgia anesthesia practice: 5 key notes

Vancouver, Canada-based CRH Medical Corp. acquired a majority of a Decatur, Ga.-based gastroenterology-facing anesthesia practice, Yahoo! Finance reports.

1. The Dectaur practice provides anesthesia services to a local ASC.

2. This marks CRH’s fourth acquisition in Georgia.

3. CRH estimates the acquisition will yield $3.2 million in total annual estimated revenue.

4. The deal is a joint venture with CRH retaining a 51 percent interest.

5. Edward Wright, CEO of CRH, told Yahoo! Finance, “This transaction continues to demonstrate our ability to leverage our existing relationships. Decatur has been a CRH O’Regan customer for almost four years.”
