1. Dr. Troianos will oversee nearly 230 specialists in pain management, general anesthesia, pediatric and congenital heart anesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesia and critical care, as well as outcomes research and education.
2. He previously served as chief of anesthesiology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital and vice-chair of the Allegheny Health Network, both located in Pittsburgh.
3. He serves as president-elect of the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists.
4. He completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
