Center for Patient Safety Names Dr. Stephen Smith to its Board of Directors

Anesthesiologist Stephen Smith, MD, will join the board of directors for the Center for Patient Safety in Jefferson City, Mo., according to St. Louis Today.

Dr. Smith practices at Mercy Medical Center, as well as Western Anesthesiology Associates and Premier Dental Anesthesiology, both in Baldwin, Mo. He is a member of the Missouri State Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, St. Louis Society of Anesthesiologists and St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Association, according to the report.

Dr. Smith received his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, and he completed his internship and residency at the university’s hospitals and clinics.
