Carolinas College Develops North Carolina’s First Anesthesia Technician Program

Carolinas College of Health Sciences in Charlotte, N.C., part of Charlotte-based Carolinas HealthCare System, is creating the state’s first anesthesia technician program, according to a Charlotte Business Journal report.

The college aims to use its grant of $22,000 from the Allied Health Regional Skills Partnership to design a curriculum that standardizes training for students.

The program could be replicated throughout the region, according to the report.
