Audio-Digest Foundation Releases Anesthesiology Program for Bowel Function, Difficult Airway Extubation

Audio-Digest Foundation announced the release of “Anesthesiology Volume 56, Issue 06: Optimizing the Bowel/Difficult Airway.”

The goals of the program include optimizing bowel function in critically ill patients and to outlining techniques for safe extubation of the difficult airway.

The program is adapted from presentations given by Erik B. Kistler, MD, assistant professor in the department of anesthesiology and critical care at University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, San Diego; and Aaron M. Joffe, DO, associate professor of anesthesiology, service chief of otolaryngology, oral and maxillofacial and urologic Surgeries as well as associate medical director of respiratory care at University of Washington School of Medicine and Harborview Medical Center, both located in Seattle.
