The American Society of Anesthesiologists has added Rivanna, a developer of AI-enabled ultrasound imaging technology, to its Innovator Supporter Program to collaborate on innovations that enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Rivanna’s ultrasound platform provides real-time guidance for spinal and epidural procedures to improve accuracy and safety in neuraxial anesthesia.

As part of the partnership, the company will engage with ASA’s more than 59,000 members through educational content and participation at key meetings.

Launched earlier this year, the Innovator Supporter Program connects emerging healthcare technology companies with anesthesiologists to foster collaboration, education and innovation in anesthesiology practice.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
