1. Dr. Berkow will serve a two-year term beginning in October 2017.
2. She is a specialist in neuroanesthesia.
3. Dr. Berkow began her career after earning her medical degree from Baltimore-based University of Maryland. She completed her first surgical residency at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and her second surgical residency at East Meadow, N.Y.-based Nassau County Medical Center. She completed an anesthesia residency at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine.
4. Dr. Berkow served as a Johns Hopkins’ associate professor in the division of neuroanesthesia. She also served as director of anesthesia supplies and equipment.
